Default Amp overheating..?

Ok I accidently got the positive and negative sub wires touching, didn't know it for a few days because was tearing car apart. But now my subs comes and goes and the amp for the sub is hot like in 1 minutes to where you can't even touch it. Is my amp blown or just a fuse? I checked all the wire and nothing was loose? Anyone know what it might be

Do you know how much it would cost to repair it? Would it be cheaper to go through a authorized dealer or call Fosgate directly?
