sounds like the clutch is shot, but its nearly impossible to understand what your saying. Clarity gets alot more replys. Did you put a f22 in or a h22? What was in it before? Seriously, i hope english is your third language because that post is impossible to decipher what you want to know. But, it sounds like your pulling the tranny and replacing the clutch if I understand what your having issues with. I dont know if you can adjust the clutch, but its impossible to understand what your saying. You can bleed the clutch if it doesnt release until you hit the floor and engages as soon as you let it off some by bleeding and adjusting the actual pedal with the screw on it in order to get more free play, but Ive read your post 7 times and still cant figure out what your saying. If it disengages as soon as you touch the pedal, adjust the pedals free play and give it alot more. But, theres no telling what you have got going on.

yea sorry i wasnt sure how to explain it but yes i put in a sohc f22b accord motor that has the original clutch on it . and i used a h22a tranny for that motor . every thing went in fine but then when i try to engage the cltuch it dont engage until i completely let out the pedal and even that, the cluthc barley grabs and it just slips. but the question is why is it slipping becuase the previous owner that owns that motor said the clutch was fine, even i knew it was fine. also yes,i did bleed teh clutch and i am getting pressure but very light pressure thanks in advance

Alright. Makes more sense.. Basically, you clutch never fully engages and grabs. I hope your not driving around on it, because thats a very quick way to turn a good clutch into a needing a new clutch situation.... Lets look at the fix it option. Lay under the drivers side dash looking up at the clutch pedal. You will need a flashlight! You should see two things connected to the clutch pedal. One is a bracket with an electrical harness and this is for safety purposes of cranking the car (ever tried to crank it without pushing in the clutch..)... There is also a metal rod sticking out of the firewall and is connected to the clutch pedal. This is what your looking for. Now, find where the rod connects to the pedal. Theres a NUT on the rod that you must adjust and turn the rod/nut in order to move the rod back and forth... The objective is to adjust it so there is a little bit of free play before you receive pressure... You dont want too much, but right now you should have absolutely none and thats worse than too much on the clutch (not on the tranny though.. too much yields grinding issues and bye bye tranny)..... Try adjusting that and then sit in the car once youve done it and push the clutch pedal with your foot afterwards. You want about a 1/4" of movement on the clutch before it gets harder to push.... That should solve your problem as you described it...

Bleeding the system will do you no good if your clutch disengages as soon as you touch the pedal as described here. Most commonly you push the clutch in really far before it disengages and that is something a bit of bleeding will fix. But, if you have too little or too much free play its always a good idea to adjust the clutch pedal. I know, i went through a tranny because of this...

thanks will do that tomrrow but i have a question how does adjusting that rod makes the cllutch engage better? becuase when i let the clutch pedal go and try to drive its just slips until i really play with the gas at low rpms for it to grab and barley go
