Default trying to turbo crx with b16

I am having problems with my t3 turbo with internal wastegate mounting leaving room for a radiator, how do you guys mount them in your crxs with b16s, the wastegate just sits way forward leaving no roo, for any kind of radiator, even a half sized one. I am using a log manifold made from bmc (the guy on homemadeturbo) can you guys please try to help.

you will probably have to run a 1/2 size RAD. iv heard a non A/C neon rad works great.

yah the hardest about turboing an EF is finding a manifold and turbo combo that will work with a half sized rad. Would flipping the trubo around so the compressor is on the opposite side help?

thats how i had to do it on this hatch im working on. the compressor is facing left and the wastegate is forward fits and looks alot better if u ask me, kinda like everything is tucked more toward the engine looks clean. also using a dual core half size radiator.

It's all in manifold design, I used to run an internally wastegated turbo on mine with the stock full length radiator. Your best bet is going to be to run what ever half sized you can and you'll probably have to tilt it all goofy to get it to fit. Try finding room for a radiator in a B18C crx with a topmount turbo and 4" downpipe, that's rough.

i have a log style manfiold with a turbo and internal wastegate....you can do three things to fit a radiator....because i had the same issues your having....1) you can relocate the battery to the trunk (cost me 85$..with a box) and put the radiator in the spot where the battery and tray etc where...2) you can get an aluminum radiator from full-race.com for the crx....that fits perfect or 3) you can cram a half sized in there ...but you may have overheating problems.....most likely you gonna need an aluminum radiator....when i first went turbo ...before i had an ems...or a good radiator...when i was on an fmu i threw a radiator in there just to get the car running and this is what it looked like jsut for you to get an idea
