power steering problem
I recently swapped 95 gsr motor into my brothers 91 da and the old pump had a v style belt but the gsr has the serpentine style belt on the crank pulley. i went to switch the pumps but the ps line doesnt fir the 95 pump and the pulley holes are diff sizes so i have no clue what to do can anyone help me out here thanks
u might be able to use the crank pulley off the LS motor, i dont see why it wont fit on the GSR but if that doesnt work, try using the GSR pulley on the LS p/s pump and use a collar or something of the like, and place it in the hole of the pulley so the bolt or whatever can fit inside.
yea i dont have the crank pulley anymore and i have been trying to get the pulley's off the pump but i cant break the bolts loose they are so tight
hmm..yeah u might need some kind of tool to keep the pulley in place while u turn the bolt...or if there are holes, wedge a screwdriver through the hole and turn..., your best bet tho is to look for another LS crank pulley and use that...i almost guarantee thatll work.
