Proportioning valve question???
Do the proportioning valves (PV) on a 98’ HB and a 99 Si look the same? I’m doing the rear disk brake conversion and about to swap in the Si PV and they look the same in appearance.
I've just read in another post that 96-00 HB and the Si (40/40) have the same prop. valve. If this is true, then why are my brakes still mushy? Booster?

Yes they are the same, weird huh? If u check the part number for the PV of the SI and hatch, u will see that the part numbers are actually the same!

Ok, so the Prop. Valve for 98' EK and 99 Si are both (40/40). Now I've read some posts that I need up grade my brake booster (BB) and master cylinder (MC) to the 99 Si, and other posts saying I can stick with the 98' EK BB & MC setup. Can anyone out there who has done this swap with their EK confirm this?
Thanks.
Thanks.
