Default 96-98 yellow headlight fix

before:
I only took a picture of the driver side headlight because i was so happy it worked on the passenger headlight



After
I forgot to take a picture of the driver side headlight because I was to happy it looks new now


what I used -
- a clean rag
- and


thats right metal polish
I was scared when I put this on

Good idea, my headlights had that build up so bad I actually began to think the previous owner had used some type of adhesive to put on those "eyelids" because the residue was so thick.

Eventually, I just sold my stock headlights for the price I payed for ebay blackhousing headlights.

i had the autosol polish laying around for like 2 years so it was kind of free, kind of not

it would come out 100x better if you sanded it with 2000 and buffed it w/ 3m rubbing compound and a buffer. it would look newer than new

wet sanded mine down twice with 2000 grit and a palm sander....came out great. buffed with some compound, then buffed with some wax twice, came out excellent. makes me wish i took before and after pics. maybe i will when i do my girls headlights on her CL.......

I used 2000 grit (wet sand), and then buffed several times w/ Meguiar's PLASTX. Looks awesome.
