a/c recharge?
wats the deal with the A/C leak fix and recharge kits that they sell in autozone? are they good? do they work? is it worth the money? my A/C return line (metal line running under the battery) has a leak in it. will this kit fix it? i dunno if there are any other leaks in the system. i haven't used the a/c in over a year cuz of all the things i had to disconnect wen swapping the motor, the one thing i forgot was the one little a/c compressor wire. that'll be nothing to fix. i went to a shop and they told me i was lookin at ~$450 for this service. would i missing something with the autozone stuff? i'd love to do it myself. thanks guys
you need to replace that line that has a hole in it first, the different in the service you get a an certified a/c place, is that they have the right pressure gauges to do ac, and they also have a vaccuum pump to take all the air and moisture out of the system
when you vaccuum pump the system before you charge it, it makes a really big difference, you will find that it blows alot colder
