not too shabby--- i would just check it out really well, check how it runs when cold ie smoking etc.. usually when people have ecu's that rev high, .. they take em up there and thats not always a good thing..especially if ur about to buy it

Unless you personally know the seller, I'd be very cautious and careful.

both of them are right! not to many people have the restraint to break in a motor the right way which can hurt the motor. also when most people have the opportunity to rev their motor to 10k they do it. whether it is to show off and do it for fun or actually racing! if i were you i would do what my cousin did and make up alittle contract that say you have the right to go to say mechanic of your choice and have them check it out and make sure everything is ok! just to be safe! another one of my friends just bought a 92 eagle talon tsi awd turbo and in less than a month it is already in the shop having to be rebuilt! but good luck and i hope the car turns out great for you and your happy but just beware cause there are shady people who sell their crap knowing its not any good to someone who is new to the scene! best of luck!
