Default getting a new muffler with piping.

I am getting my OBX muffler with 2.5 piping out soon because I want to get a better sounding muffler and I want it a little bit loud.. What muffler should I get? I am going to get it with 2.5 piping all over with no resonator.

I have the Apex'i N1 muffler with custom piping and no resonator and I LOVE it. It sounds perfect to me and is exactly how I wanted it to sound.

Do you like tickets? If so then Apexi n1 is what you're looking for. They are pretty loud. You'll definately be noticed.

Just get an N1 or any other style that is straight-through with no resonator and you will be loud. But why no resonator? It's going to sound like a swarm of bees after about 3K RPM's.

Listen I was the same way. so I did 421 header to 2.5 inch piping straight back to an n1 muffler. No cat's no resinator. It was SUPPPPPPPPER loud. Cops loved me. 4 tickets later and a year of maturing I realized super loud ricer cars suck. Just get a nice rsr ex mag. you won't regret it later on.

Bro common now, why would you want to get a loud ricey exhaust?...to make your car "sound" fast? or just to annoy the hell outa people?...the extra attention isnt worth all the tickets you'll be getting, but if thats what you really want the N1 or almost any Magnaflow will do the trick

Also consider that fact that you'll get headaches if you travel for a period of time on the highway.

Yes, it is definitely loud. Family/friends can hear me a block or two away, but it is louder outside the car than inside so it doesn't sound that loud to me. I would still like to put a test pipe on it since I don't really ride at high RPM's.

And this is on an auto ( ) so if it's loud on that, then it should be siginificantly louder on a stick since it revs higher more often.

I have a Megan Racing 4-1 w/ just a 2.5" Resonator and 3" in/out Borla turbo muffler. It is loud as hell! I see a cop, I clutch in, and I just cruise (or turn off the road). It's not all that great. Now if you have some serious performance mods then this makes sense, but otherwise it is kind of pointless. I only did it because I had plans of turboing the car, now, unfortunately, I have to get rid of her.
