NEED help deciding on which muffler to put on my car!!
Sory for anoteher exhaust post, but i can not decide on which of these mufflers to put on, im basically going for the sound rite now, since when i do the engine swap im going to get new piping made, Im deciding weather to instal a magnaflow oval straight threw muffler, or an N1 style off ebay?? it will be welded straight to the stock piping, (94 civic hatch) has anyone ever heard the N1 style welded to the stock piping?? did it sound bad ?? im hopeing for a deep tone that dosnt get tooo high pitched, which muffler would give a deeper tone? thanks

i have an n1 catback and it gets a bit ratty at high rpms like above 6,000 but with the silencer in it sounds really nice....ive never heard one welded to stock pipe except on an integra and it sounded close to the same as the catback to me but thats just me

My friend's '96 EX has an N1-style muffler welded to his stock piping. It really doesn't sound all that bad; it's loud w/ a very deep fart to it. It's not the typical whiny, raspy farting that you hear from most N1-style mufflers. (My A'PEXi N1 cat-back sounded very raspy. ) I wouldn't run that setup on my car. I like oval mufflers better now.
