Default revving type r engine

so today I was screwin around showing my friend's roomate my type r engine and its rev happiness by pushing the throttle plate valve arm with my finger when suddenly the throttle cable kinda slipped off and got caught on the arm in a weird way. The engine revved up but revved higher than I wanted to demonstrate and I fear that for the 2-4 seconds times that this engine was revving at a very very high rpm I may have screwed up my engine.

My friend says that the motor could not have revved more than 6500 rpm but I tell you it was a loud loud loud revving. I have a jdm type r ecu and I know it has a rev limiter (8800 rpmish?) b/c I hit it once last year.

I know its bad to rev an engine up to near redline with no load so what are the potential things I may have potentially damaged? It drives fine and there was fresh synthetic oil in the motor.

Thanks
