My vtec isn't workin

Default My vtec isn't workin

We just took a ls/vtec out of my 97 civic dx because the vtec didn't work so i put a b16 in there and vtec still don't what would cause it not to work never had this problem in my other cars

It's your ECU. The 97 DX motor in non-vtec so the ECU would also be non-vtec. You can't just throw in a vtec motor and have it work.

You should add that info first. What ecu, wiring harness, is vtec wired.etc.....
