TDC Positioning
Ok, I'll start off by saying that I should've bought a Helms manula instead of the Haynes and can you locate TDC w/o having to go under your car? If you can do it that way, what is the easiest way. Its dark and I have shitting lighting (shadows) so I can't really see where much is and might have to wait until daytime.
Usually I don't bump this soon and it probably is against forum policy, but I really need this so I can finish this up before tomorrow.....

On your crank pulley there are these markings one is || and other is ||| you need to line the || up with teh arrow under the cam gear and the other goes to another position arrow. Search for "Poison timing belt" he gives a really good how to. Have a good time.
Didn't find anything that answered my question, anyone else......Once again, I am asking if there is a way to move the timing belt w/o going underneath the car. I need to get the #1 piston to TDC before I take the head off and such.....

So do I take the wheel off and the plastic liner(which I can do). Turn the crank bolt (clockwise is it?) then when it reaches TDC do I just slide the belt off or should I go the tensioner route?
