my car has been boosted before... too may headaches.. too much maintence and its too expensive... but if your the type of person who is patient and can easily handle stress.. going turbo is for you..

I'd get a b18c-all motor... less hassle..

BTW.. I got a b20z/b16vtec swap... I got this cuz.. I want the torque (makes me feel like I got turbo again) and the vtec..

yup..

thats what they call a crvtec, frankenstein swap, B20vtec...
B20b/z bottom block with either B16/B18c cylinder head

as for an LS/vtec...
B18a/b bottom block with either B16/B18c cylinder head

do a search for "lsvtec" or "crvtec" and you'll find a lot of stuff. It basically involves getting new bolt holes drilled by a shop, running oil lines from the head to the block (b/c the non-vtec block wont have all the necessary ports), and wiring up a vtec solenoid and related stuff (including vtec or chipped ecu). There are also a few kits available now that has all of the hardware and you don't have to do any drilling, but I haven't really looked at them at all. Also, some people will try telling you that you don't need the extra oil lines, but they're wrong. You run a high risk of starving the engine of oil if you don't. Your internals dislike that a lot and will procede to fuse to the block.
