ignition switch?
it seems like everytime i post its something wrong with my car....
well when i turn the key to the "ON" position, usually my windows and clock would work. however recently that's not what's happenin. now when the key is in the "ON" position, the clock, wipers, turn signals, and windows will not work like they used to. oh yeah, and the car starts but wont stay on!
when i keep the key turned all the way everything works, including the engine stays on. but when i let go, those above mentioned things die.
all the other stuff works tho, radio, instrument gauge, dome light, head/tail lights.
so is the ignition switch the problem?
and if it is how hard would i be to replace it?

From the way you made it sound, yes it's the ignition switch. Not to be confused with the ignition lock. I wish I had a picture, but they are easy to replace.
You need to remove the plastic collar around the steering column. You will see the key lock, on the end of the key lock is a white switch, that's the part that actually turns on, just remove the band holding that unit onto the column and remove that switch a few screws and a wire clip. Just WATCH OUT for air-bag components, as they are expensive, also remove your battery because with post 99 integra's the ECU might associate the unplugging of the ignition switch with tampering, and activate the anti-theft immobilizer.
It's easy, to put it this way, distructivly, a theif can get the switch out in a few seconds.
with tools it should take about 5 or 6 min.
