get rid of vtec
u mean get rid of ur vtec so it doesn't engage? disconnect your vtec solenoid via the plug or cut a wire or somethin.. it'll throw a code when it gets to the right RPM, but it wont engage vtec.
chip ur ECU if u want to get rid of it without throwing a code.
why would u get rid of a vtec on a motor like that....

theres no point of getting rid of vtec-e, your car will be even slower then normal. i have a VX and all that vtec-e does is that a few valves are disabled and when vtec-e kicks in (at around 2k rpm) they start working. not a longer cam stroke as real VTEC would do. u'd be better off to leave it that way it is or swap an Si head and ECU so u have real vtec. im not even gona bother, gona be a GS-R powered VX soon enough.
