Default Greddy Type RS BOV?

i dont know if it is just me, but my greddy type rs BOV sounds loud as hell with a nice woosh sound from inside the car, but everyone tells me that it is quiet/hardly audible from outside, is this normal? i am boosting 10psi right now on my 7thgen.

also, i have it set for almost completely soft, but i still notice that i get some compressor surge when i shift at lower rpm. what can i do about this problem?

yeah My type S sounds prettty loud. Just let the car idle and set just to where there is no vac. coming out if you stick your finger in it. the valve should just seal it.

I had the type-rs and it was barely audible from outside the car. I switched back to a regular type-s.
