need help on a 99 civic si

Default need help on a 99 civic si

my car turns over but dose not start. fuel is not reaching fuel rail. i changed the fuel pump and still nothing. i also changed the main relay and still nothing. so i checked the power going to the fuel pump and there is no power. how can i find out what the problem is..

Did you happen to check the fuse before you spent all that money on parts?

So when you turn the key two times you cant hear the fuel pump turn on?

its getting power but not the fuel pump it wont even turn on. and i had a cali racer put the motor in. its someting electical

Have you checked the ground for the pump?

If the fuse is getting power that means that the problem is between the fuse an the pump. That is just all wiring.

yes the one on the fuel pump it seemed good. i took it off and scuffed it with sand paper

check the big ignition fuse under the hood. its green and 40 amp i believe.

Lol thats what i was thinkin..
My friends car did the same thing.Turns out the sock came off the fuel pump and something got lodged in the pump. We took it out, got some wires and touched it to the battery a few times and it spit gas out.So we put it back in and it cranked right up
