did tune up....old plugs gap was .56-.58 in
I recently did a tune up on my car and after I gapped my new plugs to .39-.43in I checked the gap of the old one and they we like .56-.58in. I did read somewhere that under normal driving conditions a spark plug gap widens a bit thats why every 20k-30k you should replace them. but going from .41 to .56-.58 a little to much in 30k? And would this cause my CEL to come on for Fuel System runnig rich? I have a 97 dx ej6. Any response would be welcomed.
