i was curious about this also. I just put Mobil 1 15W-50 in today for the first time, and my oil pressure is definitely better than it has ever been before.

My buddy asked Geoff at Full-race this question, and Geoff said to run 20w 50 VR1.

I have always read when using multi-viscosity oils its best to keep the range as close as possible for your operating temps. 20w-50 would be better than 15w-50 as long as the temperature allows for 20w

My oil pressure has gotten low at idle with this damn heat.
Lowest is like 12-13 psi. I know 10 is the minimum.
D15 btw.
Im using 10-30 as always.

i ran mobil 1 15w-50 when my b18b was boosted and it ran like crap. switched to mobil 1 10w-30 and it ran much better. just my experience though...my friend with a boosted b16a is running the 15w-50 and it runs like a champ.

hondas have tight clearances....they require a thiner oil to get into those tight clearances.

a higher guage pressure isnt nessesarly good, it simply means more restriction for oil and and reduced flow
