Default Is the sensor on the power steering line behind the intake mani necessary?

I bought a b18c swap(came out of 96 usdm gsr) from a guy who had it in a 2000 civic ex and i am putting it in my 99 ex. The dude gave me his harness which he had already cut and extended, but when hooking it all up i came up short one sensor plug. i dont have the one to plug in the power steering line. If i do with out this sensor how will this affect how the car runs? I dont plan on using power steering though.

If you are not hooking p/s up then it won't be necessary. I think it's important to hook it up if you are running it though, I believe it helps regulate pressure to keep the amount of power assist consistent regardless of engine speed.
