so heres the deal,
just recently got a new turbo setup, and welded some 2.5" charge pipes. However, I noticed something interesting. Granted, i should have a better welder, but my crappy wire feed welder leaves a lot of slag on the outside, and a little bit on the inside when i weld pipes. This concerns me a bit, as I don't want this crap breaking off and getting injested by my engine. I did my best to clean it out, grind them out, but sometimes the angle of the pipes made it hard/impossible....
sooooo i was thinking i could
A. install a fine mesh screen in the charge piping for a while
B. put a big *** magnet on the outside of the pipe, maybe right before the filter from A.
Just for insurance, as i'd really hate to wreck my brand new turbo or my engine
any other tips?
