itr hatch wont fire over no more??
ok here goes well i figured i would give it a shot posting in here maybe you guys experienced the symptoms i am having... its a 97 jdm itr motor/trans from h.m.o in a 89 civic std model...all wired obd1 car has plnety of power just wont crank over no more like the starter isnt gettin juice the meter i used said its getting 12v+ which i think should fire it over i tried 3 dif starters and nothing and idea? had stock itr flywheel and exedy clutch..car runs great when i pop start it ..
no it doesnt even crank the starter doesnt do nuttin...its fine when i pop start it jus turning the key it dont do nothing..u hear hte relay clicking thats all
what happens when you hook 12v to small spade terminal on starter it should kick right over if not its a bad starter, you did hook it back up right?
I am willing to bet anything that you have a ground loose somewhere! Take all of them off and replace and or clean them! I had the EXACT same problem once with my b16 and it turned out to be the ground spade that plugs into the starter!

Thats not a ground... the starter is grounded through the body of the starter itself. That spade connector is sent 12V+ when you turn the key to position III.

I know what it is, theres a starter relay near the fuse box under the dash. Let me try to find the pic. I had the same problem, the car wouldnt crank at all so I took it to the shop and that shiet was out in 10mins. Let me find the pic.
yea please do..thansk guys for helping. i so far did full tuned up 2weeks ago.. new optima battery, and new alternator today...but pepgirls gave me a wrong alt..so gonna swap it tomorrow see what haps...also replaced starter
made some progresss yesteday tryin to get it started, i replaced the starter but it appartly wasnt the right one, but i made a ground for the starter and grounded it out and it shot out and spun..but when it was in the trans it went like it spun once like its hitting something but the starters look dif ..but its progress knowing that it may be narrowed down to a ground prob
