Hey guys I have a little problem. I just got a 1996 honda civic ex widebody. with a jdm h22a swap and dont know for surebut its a jdm trans. the whole motor and trans has about 30,xxx and the clutch is brand new and so is the flywheel, it has a exedy stage 2 clutch and act flywheel. But the problem is when I press in the clutch 1-3rd gear it makes a loud click sound but my car shifts fine its just a noise. Doesnt matter if i press the clutch in slow or fast or hard or easy still does it.
Is this a big problem or is it normal.

It could be a axle possibly. I have heard about a lot of people having problems with axles with the h22 swap. What kind of axle setup are you running?

 

I know there aftermarket and there made to handle 300+
but it comes from the tranny side
it doesnt shake, its just a noise

is it a clicking noise or is it a throw out bearing noise

 

I really dont know, it sounds like something to do with when the clutch is ingauged but only 1 through 3rd gear.,

 

Is it only when your in motion? Or what about when your at a dead stop in nuetral?

 

Oh my good lord people. It is probably the throw out bearing. I don't know where you pulled axles out of.

 

Its only when Im in motion. like for example Im approaching a stop sign clutch in no noise clutch out brake in in neutral, ok clutch in no noise first going clutch in click 2 clutch in click 3rd clutch in no click 4th clutch in no click 5 th

 

So it's most likely the throw out bearing than are those exspinsive or exspinsive to put in. Is there a more high performance one i can get.
