hmm i have no idea if you really need a ecu upgrade in order to get the DSM injectors to work....i have re-searched them "SOME-WHAT" and heard just that the ecu helps but isnt needed for them to work....i might be wrong..i just know that you have to re-wire a RESISTOR BOX from a older honda / acura and that should be just fine...WELL...with that all said...i will post you a link to my current problem dealing with the whole DSM injector BS when i re-edit this reply...good luck...-swift
sure u can run dsm on a stock ecu but ur cars gonna run like ****. u need to chip the ecu and run uberdata, crome ,hondata,or neptune in order to scale the fuel maps for the larger injectors

well the easy was in which i read to by-pass the injector plugs if you have a OBD1 setup is to melt the hard plastic on the top of the blue top DSM's and they will fit right in...as i did with mine
anyone know where i can get a basemap for cheap?

if you have an OBD1 setup all you have to do is take a razor and shave/cut the small knotch in the DSM injectors off and the clips snap right on
