Default checked my plugs after a few WOT runs

i checked my zex plugs a little bit ago i dont have my camera right now but i will post pics soon. the very bottom of the threads were black (not the threads but under them) and a little of the ground straps are black too. Most of the ground stap color is metal but just duller but not rainbowy. Its hard to explain but ill get a pic soon.

Are you sure the engine was turn off immediately after the wot pull? If so the plugs look good from what I can see, good a/f

To get the most accurate idea of how the car is running at a specific rpm range the car must be shut off immediately or during that range in question... Otherwise the results are tainted by the cruising or driving afterwards. Just letting the tach return to normal after a wideopen run will skew the way the plugs look. Which is why performing these checks on a dyno is easiest.. Otherwise a WOT run would end with you pulling over on the side of the road and pulling your plugs.

It's too hard to tell in those pics. Get a good pic of the ground strap (the L bent piece). In some pics it looks like there is too much timing in others it looks like there isn't enough. What's the heat range on those plugs?

if you turn the car straight off won't you damage the turbo?

I think they are probably zex plugs, given the 4th word in his original post.

Thats why I asked! Most people don't understand that you must shut it off immediately after a pull.
