Default b16a3 nitrous - what kind of spark plugs to use?

the stock spark plugs for b16a3 are NGK PfR6L-13 (platnium plugs) and Bkr6es-11 (copper plugs). Zex recommends 2 step colder plugs for use with their nitrous system or their own Zex plugs which every gives too. Everyone on H-T recommends NGK brk7e, but for a B16a3 that is only one step colder. This guy (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=727981) used NGK brk7e plugs on his b16 and his plugs melted. So which plugs are is 2 step colder and works for a B16a3? What should I gap these plugs too? Is using colder plugs good for normal driving?

just order the plugs from ZEX and then you donĀ“t have to worry about anything!

He just said he heard bad reviews about the zex plugs, so I assume that means he wants NGK's but just one step cooler. I have never ran that setup, so find someone who is running it and get their advice from actual experience. I could answer your question, but it would just be speculation.

im running a zex dry system on a sohc motor with zex plugs and have had no problems at all..my buddy is running the same set up on ur motor with a 75 shot and is having no problems at all too.. however if u feel the zex plugs are no good then the best thing to do would be spend the 14$ a plug and buy the uridium plugs they are made to run a lot cooler but they do cost..

Another thing is the size of the shot matters if ur spraying 55 or 65 then ngk one step colder are fine ive even gone up to a 75 on one step colder before i got the zex plugs..but things did get kinda hot.

You should seriously read this http://www.zex.com/Technical/Help/NitrousOxide.asp
