Default Program remote entry/Pioneer radio '98 civic

Hi,
I recently aquired a 98 Civic ex sedan. Pioneer SuperTuner III (DEH-P4300)
There was only one remote for it. I purchased a new one with programming instructions - NEEDS STOCK RADIO.
Now the door locks work, the interior light doesn't come on when the doors are unlocked, owners manual indicates that this will happen if the stock radio is replaced.

How do I access the valet feature and program a new remote to the car?

</TD></TR></TABLE> There are a few things you can do, for you the easiest, [unless you have the stock HU] is to get the Scosche jumper plug HA03B for the dome light and get an alarm and wire keyless entry, or just a keyless entry unit, on your car the RF section, [the one you have the remote for] is in the stock HU, and unless you have that unit installed behind the dash using a "T" harness so you can install the Pioneer in the stock location you will not be able to program the new remote you have. 94

SO - If the wireless entry remote is programmed prior to the radio removal, it will still work but no new ones may be added?
