my shift **** shakes at idle? do i need a new shifer bushing?

 

Nah its pretty normal. Could just be due to lower idle etc. No biggie

 

my does it too with my b16 swap

It's possible for the shifter to shake excessively if you have a worn bushing somewhere on the linkage. You should get under the car and check them out!

 

its pretty normal unless it shakes alot and vibrates. if so then check the bushings and also where the shifter connects to the change rod. check the bolt there and maybe tighten it up "jus a little bit"

 

if it shakes, shake it back.

shaking is normal for the shifter.. if it trys to jerk out of your hand then.. idk.

its probably bushings you could have some bad engine mount bushings but a little shake isn't bad mine dose it a little to at idle too

 

You might need new bushings. Mine did that with the OEM bushings, being 10 years old. I replaced the with Energy Suspension polyurethane ones, no shake at all. Hardly noticeable.
