So I get off work at 9 tonight and head out to start my car to drive home. Get in my car and turn the key...nothing. I try it a few more times and figure my battery died. Call my dad to have him come try and jump the car and/or pick me up. He shows up about 10 mins later and I get out of my car and push him around because he is being a smart ***. Then I look and see my hood popped, open it up and see that my battery is gone. My intake is still there and so is my front strut bar.

Nothing was stolen from my car and nothing looks messed with. I don't understand. Has anyone ever heard or seen this before?

 

I guess someone else's battery died, and your car was the first one they saw and took your battery

 

hahahah sorry but i find that kinda funny. sorry to hear that though i've never heard of anyone getting their battery stolen

There were 10 other cars in that parking lot...even an H2 and I'm pretty sure mine was the only one that had anything touched. Blah, tomorrow it's time for an alarm.

 

Be happy the battery is the only thing they stole.

 

they were prolly wannabe bad *** car thieves and they thought they would "disable" your alarm by removing your battery. but then, they prolly couldn't figure out how to break into your car without making it look suspicious.

how did they get under ur hood did u see any damage on the hood or something

 

Nothing looks damaged and I searched a little bit to see if anyone has had their battery stolen and couldn't find anything. But I did read that it's quite easy to pop the hood? Something about the left fender. I don't know for sure.

My sunroof was popped a little bit...but I don't think thats how they did it. Nothing was touched in my car, not my cd player, not my change and not my cds. I don't understand it.

my moms hemi has the rear window latch broken and some SOB keeps goin in and taking drinks and stupid **** like 2 times a month we have left money and my mom had left her purse and other things in there and they just take damn drinks and **** and not all of them they take like 2 or 3 at a time it ****'s me off soo much cuz i cant afford a camcorder i just have to try and find a cheap alarm

double check it again and think like a criminal. usually people around my neighborhood steal radios and systems. that's it! maybe you've been "spotted" check everything in your car espically your engine or oil filter or something, speaking by experience. Also make sure whoever did this didn't leave anything you would suspicious of........glad 2 see your belongings are still there except 4 the battery of course....
