Default wiring b18c1 swap with 00 ex harness

I have put a 96 gsr motor into my 99 ex civic but im not using my wiring harness. The gsr i bought came out of an 00 ex civic and i am using that harness which has already had most wires and plugs extended. My question is, is there any plugs that i wont be using cause it looks like i will have a few extras on the harness? also the 00 harness has two wires that arent connected on one end, its like they were purposely pulled out of the harness, is this normal? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

If it is an OBD2.1 then yeah there will be unused plugs.
