Question about obd2b and obd2a harness?

i am wondering if anyone knows if a 98 civic ex obd2a engine harness will be able to run with a 00 civic ex obd2b ecu?? or do i need to do some modifying??

i believe you'll need a jumper harness.

someone correct me if i'm wrong...

Yup, wiring is different. The squares for the plugs on the ecu look the same, as do the plugs, but wires are in different places.
