can you hot tank a turbo?

Default can you hot tank a turbo?

If you were to hot tank a turbo would it hurt it in any way?

I think you might hurt the seal but not positive.

Personally, I would only do the housings.

I wouldnt think you can do the center section with bearings and compressor wheel. At least if you arent rebuilding it afterwards.

Hot tanking will definately ruin the gaskets and seal. It's fine to do if you are rebuilding.
