No brakes?
I finally got my LS/VTEC in my 90 Civic hatch which sat around with no motor for 1 1/2 years. After we started it up we noticed that we have no brakes. We bled all four corners with new synthetic fluid and still nothing. Is it the brake booster or the master cylinder that is bad? Is there a way to check which one is bad? When I figure out which one is shot, is it better to replace it with a new unit from a different car to possibly get better braking? Thanks.
I'd upgrade to using an Accord master cylinder and some Teggy brakes if you can source them for a good price. Actually i'd go ahead and do it no matter the price. A powereful car with overworked/underpowered brakes is a bad mixture. This sounds like it is your chance to upgrade, I'd go ahead and get it taken care of now before investing anymore in the stock brake system.
