a chance to give your b16 opinion
im abotu to begin a b16 build in my crx. ive decided that regarless of what i do the block i use will say b16a 5xxxxxx on it. regardless of the dispacement i end up with. im pretty intent with sticking with the stock stroke and boring it to 82mm keeping the stock sleeves. i want to use the lighter of the crower rods and end up with about a 11.5ish CR. the crank will be knife edged and balanced and headwork is in order with the most barely streetable cams i can find
my question is as follows....if i want to keep the stock stroke and only bore 1mm..is it worth building the bottom end at all? liek i said i plan on using aftermarket rods and knife edging the crank. will i be able to turn about 9500 rpms with nothing more than raDICAL headwork?
what would you do with the motor and dont say "boost it" or "tech43 kit" or "throw it in a lake and buy an h22" thanks
