Default b18 crank in a b16?

got a b16 sleeved to 83mm, and i want to put a b18b or b18c1 crank in it to increase the displacement...but im not sure if my b16 crower rods will work with a different crank...

basically i dont know if the size of the crank would affect that situation...let me know

You wont be able to run your crower rods if you use the LS or GSR/ITR crank....you will have to use way shorter rods (not sure which ones, custom maybe) which will pretty much put your R/S ratio in the *******...it will make for a very unstable motor.

You could send your block to GEM and have them instal sleeves and a deck plate to acheive a better r/s raito...

It's a plate that goes between the head and the block. It allows you to increase the stroke of the engine.

The deck plate is a peice of thick peice of metal that is cut (or machined) to the exact shape of your deck (top of block), when you used a deck plate you have to have sleeves that are taller to accomidate the plate.

by boring out your motor you increased the displacement... and as for deck plates... im not gonna comment on that.. . just hope you dont plan on driving your car much...
