After a month of not turning on my car because i don't have any clutch left (unless i step on the gas really hard), but anyways i turned on my car today because i was gona get ready to install my clutch and all of a sudden i heard this loud cliking noise. My friend said that something is wrong with the timming belt but i don't think so. Anybody have an idea what it is?


i will get a video of this up by 2morrow. to give u guys a real visual of what is going on

i would also like to state that this would happen before. But it wasnt loud. it was just like a tiny clinking noise that sounded like something was loose and was hitting the engine/tranny. you would only be able to hear it in the car and only in 1 - 2gear sometimes 3rd.

 

check the bolts that hold ur cam gears on make sure there real snug i would make the discribed noise if thres loose or one is

ur from romeoville, my boy lives out there. Just wanted to ask real quick, have u seen a red mustang out there? it is turbo charged i think, i got a glimpse of it when i was visiting my friend. just wanted to get some info on the ride. lol

 

nah i havnt really been hanging out with the tuner crowd im layen low so when my b16 runs i come outa no were u kno but whats his liscence plate number is it venom i kno a red cobra out here like that but idunno if its turbo. o wait is it a 4 cyl turbo stang red in the ville he lives like a block from me he wants my help but im lazy

 

yeah, it's that one. haha my friend was like yeah he is a turboed mustang and i was like wtf, why would a stang be turbo'd? All they need is a big block and then they can be a beast. haha
