Code 7 problems
I always have these weird codes.
Anyway, I searched and found similar situations but none exactly like mine.
I obviously have a code 7. The CEL only turns on when I am at WOT. I can also just turn off the car, and when I turn it back on, the CEL turns off. But, when I go to check the ecu, it is still flashing the code, but the CEL is not showing. I also 'calibrated' the tps and at idle I was at ~.49v and at WOT I was at more than 5v. The car does not bog, the engine runs normally like it should, except there is no vtec because of the code 7.
What can I do to solve this? I know the wiring is good and connections are good, because I the moved the tps around and sometimes I would instantly get a code at idle.
Should I get a new tps, put it on and set it to .45v and see if the code comes up or still with this one?

fixed mine! my throttle body wasn't like, stuck shut... but there was some corrosion (spelling) in the throttle boddy, causing it to be sticky when it was closed. I adjustd the close throttle screw just a thread or two so it woudn't be sticky anymore and the code went away.
