Dealer should be able to do it. Go to the dealer and have them take the VIN off the firewall or on the door trim.

I work for a Honda dealership. I've never heard of this being done and I seriously doubt it can be done. It just seems like there would be too many channels needed to go through to have it done - if it's even possible. Honda does not have any procedures in place to the best of my knowledge to take of such a request.
I don't know what options you have.

its not like the car itself doesn't have a VIN #... its just on the dash...
Better yet go to a store that can make name tags. get one printed off the same demensions as the VIN# tag you need... have them make you a tag with your cars Vin # and double sided tape it onto the dash.
probably cost a few bucks, but it will look the part. Since your in Texas you don't have to worry about what Outsane said...

If the cops walk by your car and don't see the vin on the dash, they are not going to be able to see the one or your driverside door or the one on your fire wall..so they can assume its stolen... just and fyi
