I looked at my turbo and there is a thread for a water line on the turbo. I want to cool the turbo with water.
Anybody has done this setup?

Art has done this setup. Really all you have to do is tap water source behind the throttle body run some nice lines and be done.
Just take the lines from the throttle body, all you gotta do is make sure the coolant flows from the top of the turbo to the bottom. People who say that you dont need this are the same ones with POS turbo timers that leave there car running and walk away from it. A guy I know with a turbo timer went to the supermarket and they paged his license plate overhead like 20 times to tell the whole place he left his car running. Anyway.. if you run the water lines you can just shut your car off with the turbo glowing red hot and water will continue to circulate (the thermostat stay open as long as coolant is still hot) through the turbo until it cools down.. pretty slick huh??

they have them because ur typical oem turbo car owner just shuts off the car right after driving... hence shortening the life of the turbo... so manufacturers watercool the turbos to keep them essentially cooler at all times... so there is less need on a normally driven turbo car for it to idle before it is shut down...
on cars like ours... people wait before they shut the motor off anyway... which even when i would drive... if have just been driving normally... ill shut it down a couple seconds after i come to a complete stop
