ITR: Connection riod bearing colors, one doesnt have a color

Default ITR: Connection riod bearing colors, one doesnt have a color

Sup everyone.
I took my ITR motor apart last night, all my connecting rod bearings had colors on them. Except piston one, the rod bearing has green, and the cap doesnt have any color on it! How do i figure out what bearing to get from Honda?

BTW, the motor was never taken apart b4

Do a search on this site and you will find more details but heres a description. Look at the side of the rod, where the cap meets the rod, and you will see a printed number like 21, or 22 or something around that. Then look at the crank near the rod journal and you will see a letter like x,w,y or something like that. Together those correspond to the honda bearing chart and you will see the color code that it matches.

So for rod #1 it might be something like 22-X and that would correspond to a color on the bearing chart which is also posted in another thread.

wow, thank you. All the rods say 22 on them, I'll just look for the other numbers
