EJ8 or EK

I have a 97 ex coupe with a B16a2 swap and was wondering is it a ej8 or and ek, I see a mix of the 96-98 and 99-00 in the pic forum?

technically its an ej8 cuz its usdm but everyone, with the occasional jdm lovers refer to 96-00 civics as eks. the jdm lovers get butt hurt if u call it an ek cuz its usdm

look on your vin. You dont have an EK unless you have a CTR.
