So I followed the wiring instructions on how the wire the O2 sensor and knock sensor on the VX shock tower from a B18C1 to a Civic VX.

Now I'm having trouble with the red wire on the ECU harness and taking it out from A20 to A17. The connector doesn't want to come out.

So here's my dilemma. I'm taking the car to the BAR tomorrow to try and get the swap stickered. Now if I just leave the red wire in the ECU harness where it is, will it pose any problems as far as the Check Engine light going off?

You have to remove the end of the clip in the A harness...You should see where it holds down where the wires go into...Once that is open...Get a needle of some sort and pop it out...
