Default Can someone please clarifiy which each of these engines are?

Still new to the Honda engines, I think the first one is a B16, the second a SOHC 1.6 and the thrid maybe a ZC or something? Info on the engines would be great as well if your in the mood.

Thanks again.

Desirable in that order, or is the ZC a better engine then the d15b?

No, thats just the order of the pics.

But the ZC is a better engine, when it comes to power output. But a lot of times people have trouble passing emssions with it.

The D15 is a waste of your time if you want real power.
The ZC will be hell to smog and legalize.
The B16 is your best "overall" bet.

the middle motor is a jdm CARBED motor, looks like out of a 1.5x? i'm no japan expert and it doesn't really matter to me that much, but i believe there was also a dual carbed sohc zc, which is similar to the d16a6, but carbed.

The black one has a few scuffs, the ZC engine, about 70k miles and an automatic. Its price is $3,600.

The Yellow one has the B16, Its been in an "accident". It has a small crack in the bumper (not bad), spot of rust (shown) and is a 5spd with around 60k miles. Priced at $4,500.

Wait a minute! Does that yellow CRX have power steering? Robbed from an Integra I'm guessing.

*shrug*

Don't have a whole lot on either car right now. I'll post more when I get back in touch.

you must live in canadia or UK?

those are Right hand drive , and dont look to be JDM

Im getting a red X on the 3rd pic.

The sohc carbbed car is going to be sucky in winter/cold weather. Thats a sohc zc , they made 4 differrent versions of the zc

obd0 sohc twin carb
obd0 sohc mpfi (injected)
obd0 dohc mpfi
obd1 dohc mpfi

all stamped ZC

if it were me, i would buy them all. But assuming you cant. The one with the b16 is going to yeild the most power with any modifications, and still can get decent fuel mileage. Allthough aftermarket products for the b16 generally are a little more "pricey" in comparison with sohc parts, and if the engine ever needs to be replaced, a zc is always going to be cheaper than a b16 to replace.
they should all get relatively the same gas mileage.

just some food for thought.

I like the black one but the yellow is really rare, and its a manual.
get the yellow one.
