Default Gsr block with ls bottom end.

With an ls crank and rods in a stock gsr engine, what pistons would clear maybe p30's? Is the deck height the same or would I have to find some shorter rods? Can someone post the measurements of both rods? How much would it mess with my rod to stroke ratio? Your help is greatly appreciated.

you should use b16...the drop right on with no mods....gsr/type R pistons, the rod small ends need to be shaved

longer stroke makes more torque, and whats going to stop it from reving high like it did before? theres no mechanicle factor holding it back.

the rod bolts on the ls rods are weak and wont last long under the abuse of reving like a gsr engine....so you replace them so they can handle the abuse

But I believe the oil squirters need to be machined for the stroke of the ls crank. Wouldn't know never done it. But why go with stock honda stuff? Going through the trouble throw a good set of pistons and rods in the and abuse the **** out of it.
