Need axle removal help ASAP!!
I am in the middle of trying to change out the passenger side axle on my 96 LX Accord sedan. This is what I have done. I got the axle nut off, and the ball joint out of the lower arm. I have NOT taken loose the damper fork. I think I have pryed the axle out of the tranny far enough. I can barely touch the smallest piece of the axle. I think I have about a 1.5" to 2" of the axle still in the tranny. I can't pull on the inboard joint of the axle enough to get it out of the tranny!!!! :madfawk: There is nothing I can really brace the prybar against to try to pry it out. Maybe I haven't popped it past that 'clip' but I thought I did. Everything was going pretty well until this.
I need suggestions!!!!!
TIA

You need to pry out the axle from the tranny using a pry bar or a screwdriver. It sounds like you have done everything right, you just have to pull it out

yeah, you can definetly use a pry bar between the tranny and axle... it has a little clip on the end of it i think... it should pop right out with a lil assistance... good luck...
