it doesn't matter it still sucks. Replace the speakers and buy an aftermarket cd player.
My speakers sound much better than stock

15x4 would mean you got a 60watt system

how many watts per channel does an aftermarket usually have? I'm confused when they say its 80watts do they mean per channel or 80/4 if u have four speakers.

My 95 EX has the premium sound package ( I think) It has the Alpine CD changer, It sounds awesome just not when its turned up rather loud. Its better than normal but not as good as if I had a full system.

the most common aftermarket decks r 35-55 watts per chanel coming to around anb average of 200 max watts...but when buying stereo equipment always look at RMS(continous power) rather then max power

yea, max power really fools alot of people. RMS is all that matters, and your never gonna that much rms out of a new deck alone since it is a built in amp that isn't wired to the battery.
