6th gen Fluidyne Radiator Installation
I ordered a 5th gen accord fluidyne radiator hoping it was a direct swap. Luckily the installation wasn’t too bad. Two minor modifications have to be done:
-A two inch notch has to be cut out of the radiator support to fit the new drain plug. Our plug comes out at a 90° angle but the fluidyne one shoots straight down.
-The radiator sits one inch lower than stock so the top brackets have to be extended one inch down. Tomorrow my dad is going to cut the brackets in half and weld on a one inch piece of steel.
I’ll have pictures tomorrow to show everyone.

i doubt it...but its thicker and is all aluminum...better and more effecient cooling, and much longer life (no plastic end caps)...can also support higher pressures and temperatures for higher HP
Here are the pictures:
Just a picture of the radiator out of the car.
Here is a picture of the top bracket that had to be modded.
In the car.
In this picture you can see why I had to extend the bracket. If you guys plan on doing this extend the bracket 1.5-1.75 inches. I think mine are a little too short, but okay.

The manifold is custom made at a friends shop. I only had a chance to dyno at 5 psi due to a faulty boost controller but it made 200 hp and 199 ft/lbs of torque. I'm going to try my best and do a full build up this winter. Expect to see a F23 sleeved soon!
Talk to this guy about building the f23a1 block.
