zany idle problem.
i just got my car (03 ep) back from the body shop, as the radio was stolen broekn glass all that garbage. anyway, my body guy that ive been going to for a while called me and said the idle is fucked up....i picked the car up and the idle is bouncing up and down between 1 and 2k....heres what i know so far:
1) i dont see any vacuum hoses disconnected
2) i dont see any sensors disconnected
3) i hear (could be imagining it) a lot more noise coming from my intake (an aem cai)
4) the idle stays still (although a little high) when the fans turn on
i havent been able to look at the car at all yet....bt my gut tells me its the idle speed control motor....but if its not....i havent much of a clue as to what else could have gone bad over night....while no one was drving the car. im goign to go try and diagnose now but any ideas or help would be great formn you guys, ill check back later.
**UPDATE** i unplugged the iac and nothign chnaged, then i drove the car to autozone for a free dtc reading.....it said "idle contorl system malfunction" i put the car though a drive cycle....and the problem disappeared.....so i guess the results are inconclusive.

take off the cold air and replace it with ur stock..
if that isn't it, put ur fingers in the throttle body (while running) and plug one of the 2 holes, the fit valve hole and the idle air valve hole..if when you plug one of them up and it stops, there is the culprit!
