Springs ride smoother and Coil Overs ride a bit stiffer. Good part about coil overs is about there adjustability. Spring and shock combination your limited on adjustments. It depends on what you want to use for ex daily driving, track car etc...

I just want my daily driver to look nice. I'm putting 18" wheels on it and i want it to ride smooth but remove the wheel gap, maybe just a little bit lower, just enough not to rub. Any suggestions?

Thanks. I think I'm going to go with the TEIN S Tech Springs. I'm also going to purchase the KYB GR-2 Shocks.

tein springs are shitty as *****
GR-2's arent much better than stock shocks...the dampers are barely stiffer, and they will blow out sooner, just like stock shocks

coilovers arent worth it unless your doing some autocrossing or other form of competitive racing...otherwise springs, shocks, and roll bars can give you all you'd ever need for the street

im sorry to crush your JDM enfatuated mind, but from my experience of riding in cars with them, and from otheres opinions, they're not worth the money.....WAY too soft...they barely reduce weight shift at all...my buddy has them with AGX's on his 240, and i was able to outcorner him with my sportlines (he also was a 300whp sr20) on a little autox course we set up...of course driver skill might have come into play with that

ife ridden with 2 cars w/ tein springs, and both times i wasnt impressed over the stock charasterics...

ive ridden in Tein SS's and compared to JIC FLTa2's, they were not match (though they cost alot less)

tein is a great brand, dont get me wrong, but they're are alot out there that are better....just because they're the least expensive and JDM, everyone's all over their nuts
